Nicholas Oyeniyi
Being raised in London Nicholas saw the benefits and challenges for young people living in a global city. At secondary school, he had his first encounters with solution-focused programmes to social issues and this encouraged him to think more about how to help tackle challenges in the city he grew up in. From studying a degree in Modern History and International Relations it bolstered his skill set and gave him the confidence to play a more active role in this process. Since graduating he has worked in the voluntary and private sector researching, planning, and delivering programmes to address shortfalls in capacity building for charities and economic opportunities for young people in East London. He is now eager to meet and collaborate with people from all backgrounds who share similar optimism for what can be achieved going forward.
