Mental Health at Home
The Stigma
It’s ok to not feel ok at home. Isolation can get to us all, and we all show it in many different ways. We are all creatures of social habits after all.
Here are some tips that have helped our team maintain a healthy mind during the lockdown.
Stay Active
Whether it’s getting up every hour to walk around the house or leaving your home to visit the local park. Staying active helps keep our brains active, improves our mood and can even help us sleep better.
Remember you don’t have to be a prisoner in your own home. Get up, be active and feel free.
Communicate
Lockdown has been isolating, but it doesn’t stop from reaching out. Why not pick up the phone and call a friend or loved one. I’m sure they are feeling the same and would love to hear from you.
Meditate
Meditation can be a creative way to calm your rushing mind. We all live such busy lives with a million and one things to do. But when was the last time you sat down and enjoyed a calming moment.

You're not alone!
