Newham Now is a food bank delivery service that delivers food parcels, donations and digital technology to vulnerable young people and families in Newham. The deliveries are carried out by young people who are acting as volunteers, part of the aim of this project is to address some of the negative stigma associated with young people in the borough and demonstrate their involvement in impactful community initiatives.
Our phase 1 target area can be seen above shown in purple. Its coverage targets anywhere between the River Thames and the A13, including, Beckton, Custom House, and parts of Canning Town. This is due to expand over the coming months.
